Fish Cheeks:
A brief little summary of this article includes a young Chinese girl with a crush on an American boy. Embarrassed of what the boy with think of her, the different culture of foods and her family. At first she had been embarrassed but later realized that the opinion of a young boy wouldn't change the fact that she was Chinese and Chinese cultures do things differently then the American culture.

Superman and Me:
This was a short article about a young Indian boy in reservation where his dad was somewhat of a book hoarder. At a young age even when the young boy couldn't read he still wanted to love books as much as his father did. The young boy began to go to school and read boxes constantly. He refused to be known as a failure. He begins to explain towards the end how it was very uncommon for indians to learn to read and how he didn't want to be known as the stereotype of not knowing how to read. He began to fall in love with books just as much as his dad did when he was a young boy.

My favorite place I would love to go has many warm sandy beaches. Its occasionally cool in the winter time but still ranges from 80-85 degrees. Many visitors come to watch the wales, swim with the colorful fishes, and do the hula in grass skirts. Most sit on the warm beaches to watch the vibrant sunsets with drinking cold drinks while absorbing as much sun light as possible. This place is a very bright and happy place. It has many varieties of fruit stands and crazy foods to try as well. As you walk on the beaches feeling the sand between your toes it becomes a relaxation. Shopping malls left and right as well as endless souvenir shops. When you arrive at this location, all your worries and stress begins to disappear.
